A female student of Lagos State University has been reported dead after attending a dinner party while another Male student is in a critical condition.
The male student as at the time of this report is still in the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
According to reports, the deceased 200 Level student of the Department of History and International Relations started foaming in the mouth and vomiting blood after returning from the dinner party where she ate and drank. She died afterwards.
The male student however was diagnosed with same symptoms. He is currently under the Doctor's watch at the University Teaching Hospital.
Reports also have it that the family of the deceased stormed the University in reaction to a likely fowl play in the death of their child because of her foaming and vomiting of blood.
Confusion set in after students who shared the same table with her ate and drank the same thing she had reported to the University Authorities.
However,it was gathered that the send forth party which was held in an un-named hotel was without the school and student union's approval. But the school authority has commenced investigations to ascertain the cause of her death. In this light, they have asked the party organizers to give them a comprehensive name of lecturers that attended the party.
